What is a quarter size experience
The Atoms’ Quarter Size Experience allows you to get the perfect fit for each of your feet. Based on a few questions about fit, you’ll receive three pairs of Atoms, in quarter size increments. Try them all on at home and keep the two individual shoes that fit best, even if that means even if that means a 7.75 on your left foot and an 8 on the right. Once you've found the perfect fit, ship the other two pairs back.
With every Quarter Size Experience is a smaller return box with a pre-paid return label already on the lid of the box. All you have to do is tape it up and drop it off any USPS location.
What are quarter sizes?
Shoes have traditionally been sold in half size increments, despite 60% of people having at least a quarter size difference between their left and right foot. Atoms is the first company to sell shoes in quarter size increments.
What is the perfect fit?
The perfect fit starts with trying on your Atoms' Quarter Size Experience one shoe at a time. There should be a ¼ to ⅓ of an inch distance between your longest toe and the front of the shoe (about a half a thumb nail). Your Atoms won't stretch much over time, so how they feel on day 1 is how they’ll feel on day 100.
Once you find your fit for your left foot, move on to your right. About 60% of people have at least a quarter size difference between their left and right foot so it is best to try on each shoe one foot at a time. We encourage everyone to find their perfect fit even if it means keeping a size 8 on your left foot and an 8.25 on your right.
Do Atoms come in various widths for wide or narrow feet?
Not yet. Please email support@wearatoms.com to say you are interested in a wider fit. As soon as we create a version of Atoms with your particular width, we will contact you so you can order your perfect fit.
What sizes do you offer?
We offer a wide variety of sizes for men and women:
Men: 3.5 — 15 // Women: 5 — 16.5
All of the sizes offered comes in quarter size increments.
Can I change the insoles?
Atoms have a removable insole that can replaced your preferred insole. The Atoms insole and midsole will form to your feet as you wear them — changes may alter fit and form slightly.
How do I clean my Atoms?
For the occasional cleaning, use a soft bristled brush along with your preferred cleaning solution. Once you are done let your Atoms air dry.
For a deep clean, here are some tips to machine wash your Atoms.
Are Atoms machine washable?
You can machine wash your Atoms on delicate (slow cycle, cold water only).
For best results, take the insoles out, keep the laces tied, put your Atoms in a linen bag or pillow case, and mix in towels or sheets to pad the washing machine. DO NOT MACHINE DRY. Air dry with inserts or shoe trees.
We don't recommend you do this often, but understand a deep clean is needed sometimes.
Are Atoms waterproof?
Atoms are designed to be an everyday shoe so it is very breathable. Unfortunately, those holes also let in water. Atoms will hold up against light to moderate rain with a midsole that is thick enough to withstand the occasional puddle.
Is there anything in Atoms that can cause an allergic reaction?
As an ideal everyday shoe, Atoms need to be built for everyone. Unfortunately, if you have a latex allergy or sensitivity to copper you shouldn’t purchase our shoes. We care about our customers but we care about everyone’s health and safety more.
Do Atoms come with a warranty?
Atoms come with a one year warranty from the date of purchase. This will cover material and workmanship flaws, but does not cover general wear and tear.

How do I return the extra Atoms?
Each Atoms’ Quarter Size Experience orders come with a pre-paid return label which is already attached to the included return box. All you have to do is tape it up and drop it off at any USPS location.
If you mix-matched your Atoms to find your perfect fit, you can keep either box and place the extra mix-matched Atoms inside the other one regardless of the size listed. Our team checks and sorts everything once it is sent back to us.

How much is it to return a pair of Atoms?
Atoms offers complimentary shipping and returns.
My return label isn't showing up when I click it.
All emailed return labels are in a pdf document. Try changing your browser to Google Chrome or install Adobe Reader.
Do the pre-paid return labels work internationally?
Unfortunately not. As soon as you are back in the United States, you can drop off your return at any USPS location to be mailed back to us.
When will I receive my refund?
A refund will be initiated within 2 business days of receiving the shoes. Once the return has been processed, you will receive an email notification that the refund has been initiated.
For most banks, it will appear in your account in 2 to 3 business days. Depending upon your bank, it can take up to 10 business days for it to be settled.
This is generally for smaller banks such as a local credit union or regional bank.
What do you do with used Atoms?
Atoms believes in getting the most out of every product and experience we offer. We are currently looking into charitable partners to donate usable pairs of Atoms as well as material vendors to recycle pairs someone can no longer get any use from.

How much do the Model 000s cost?
The Model 000s are $179 for a single pair or for our Quarter Size Experience.

We accept all major forms of payment. This includes Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

How do I stop or hold a delivery?
If your order has already been shipped, you can stop or hold a delivery by going to the USPS or FedEx website and contacting them about your order.
All you’ll need is some basic shipping information such as your address and your tracking number which can be found in your order confirmation email.
Our partners will be able to stop, hold, or reroute your package as needed.
How much is shipping?
Atoms offers complimentary shipping and returns.
Do you deliver to PO boxes?
Yes.
Do you deliver to APO boxes?
Yes we do but we cannot include a pre-paid return label in the shipment for your Quarter Size Experience. Email support@wearatoms.com and we'll email you a pre-paid return label to return the extra shoes.
